Archaon is the stage name of Idar Burheim, a prominent Norwegian black metal musician best known as the lead guitarist for the band 1349. Born in Drammen, Norway, in 1979, he joined 1349 in 1999 and has been a driving force behind the band's trademark aggressive, fast-paced "aural hellfire" sound.
